This is a Limited Edition print of my Orchid Series painting called 'Sweet Temptations'.

I have always been fascinated with Orchids as exquisite creations of nature. However, while being natural objects that represent notions of attractiveness, on another level they tap into the role of passive seduction. There is a play between what orchids stand for (as exotic objects of aesthetic sensuality), compared to the underlying sexual associations tied to their use in the social context. They represent symbols of love and affection, while hinting at undercurrents of lust and persuasiveness.

Giclée Art Print

A giclée print is a high-quality copy of a work of art created using high-end color inkjet printing techniques of 8 to 12 colors in conjunction with the use of pigment inks (archival inks) that maintain image stability and color constancy higher than all other known inks.

Hahnemühle German Etching® is one of the world's most popular mediums used for artwork prints. It impresses with its medium rough surface. This heavy paper has a slightly warm base tone and a distinct texture. Produces prints with strong colors and deep blacks that appear rich and have high contrast. This is due to the texture of the paper, which allows it to hold more ink and catch light. German Etching is one of the heavier weight Giclée art print papers.
